Fallout Tactics.
I love that game. I’m playing through it again so I can play through it and do a proper Iron Man run.

I love the series and yeah its definitely not for everyone but I would say finish book one. Its a very unique flavour. I cant think of another “If you like that then you have to read DCC”

To be fair, its really hard to explain to people why its good. Like imagine the inverse of trying to sell someone on seeing John Wick by describing the plot. “Theres a retired assassin and some gangster kills his dog and then he goes on a rampage”. DCC ping-pongs around from dick jokes to proper emotional torment to obscene violence and back to dick jokes so well while not being able to stick to a genre worth a damn that any attempt to decribe it will sound like a delusional fever dream.

Quasar is good but by the end of book 8, the A.I is low key becoming the best character.

I second the beater cars. Both of mine combined cost less than the first year depreciation on an average brand new family car.
But it definitely requires a skillset, mindset and tool set. Its not a lifestyle for everyone.

Honestly imagine how much better the traffic for somewhere like greater LA could be made by an AI system using cameras and variable speed limit signs to control the traffic flow.
If they used A.I to make our lives better in just a few ways I think society in general would be so much more tolerant of their shit.

A coworker ignored me when I said something to him.
So I went to the office gossip and said “Did you hear Jims put in his resignation and is going to work at Home Depot” Then went to two other departments and did the same thing including the head of transport because the drivers are insane gossips.
3 hours later someone came up to Jim to.ask him a legitimate work question and he screamed at them “I’M NOT GOING TO WORK AT FUCKING HOME DEPOT!”
The bosses knew I was responsible but Jim was also an incorrigible shit stirrer and prankster himself so he got sent home with pay for the rest of the day and given a chat about “If your going to dish it out…”

Some movies only hit on the first watch. Once you know the gags, twists or ending its just “Yeah Ok.”
Thats also giving some of the women too much credit.
They are aware that they can exchange vagina for money. You say the right things, act the right way and some guy who hates the idea of his wife having more say than him will happily keep her from ever working a day in her life.
I think the Titty_wizard is trying some reverse psychology.

Ive always said that Disney should have said "Ok fuck it, theres 2 universes. Theres the “Star Wars Expanded Universe” which will be M rated, aimed at adults and Star Wars Canon Universe which will be PG and more family friendly.
And yes, I want a Rogue/Wraith Squadron series as bad as you do. Id even settle for Dinner or Silly Squadrons.

Thats the worst thing about him.
He takes risks, makes oddball shit, signs on to excellent OC scifi movies and is a pretty damn tallented actor.
Also nuttier than squirrel shit and I dont respect his fronting for a cult but FUCK if Edge Of Tomorrow isnt an amazing scifi film.
Yeah because if I do a really good job eating the banana it is still never going to reciprocate and suck my cock.
Funny that.

The big organisations want it regulated to the point where upstarts get strangled by oversight and regulations and only the biggest established players will have the manpower and money to ensure compliance.

Kids will like it, Adults will like it more. Theres a couple of jokes that will sail straight over kids heads and some that will only hit if you watched the originals as a kid.

Its not an old story retold, its an old character in a new story.
Like Space Jam was to Bugs Bunny, the original was original, the remake with Lebron was not original.

Almost the entire marketing budget is in this thread.
The outrage over it getting shelved and the company taking the write off is like 90% of the things I heard about the movie. I went to see it with my daughter out of spite (we also needed a school holidays movie but I picked this one because of WB’s bullshit.
Prepotente has definitely had his moments but the way the A.I has transitioned slowly from a plot advancement, narrative and exposition tool into a full blown “Whats IT going to do?” character is one of my favorite things about the series.
