Yeah both my kids were scared to ride the school bus when they transitioned to middle school and their biomom wanted us to drive them back and forth because that’s what she did despite us living 20 minutes further away and not wanting to “traumatize” them with the school bus… we said no, they can learn to ride a bus like normal people and low and behold after a week they were over it, no one was traumatized and the concept of riding the bus isn’t scary anymore to them.

I accept that I can’t understand everything all the time, especially other people and there’s actually nothing autistic about that. However there ALWAYS a reason, and it almost always has nothing to do with me. No one does things “for no reason”. They weren’t cruel for no reason, hurt people hurt people, I don’t condone it but I’m also not going to try to reverse engineer someone else’s mind because it’s impossible, idk what trauma they’ve experienced or the context of their current lives and my time here is valuable, I’m not going to waste it on someone who’s been cruel to me.

I used to fall into this trap until I realized it’s a fools errand and my autistic brain thinks running fool’s errands is illogical.

Even if that’s true, use AI for the paperwork it can be used for, retain some nurses for paperwork then reduce nurse to patient ratios for the remainder of nurses that were doing paperwork and aren’t doing it any longer. Ratios are critical for quality of care

No, discrimination is discrimination, school is as many hours as a full time job, if an education system can’t teach kids what they need to know in that amount of time it’s failing. Discrimination is wrong.

That homework isn’t discriminatory. Not all kids have lives that allow them to do it. If you can’t cover all the bases in whole ass 8 hours I’m there a day that’s on you, not me. This is only true k - 12, college level courses are voluntary so having some homework could be considered ok.
