“Don’t Rain On My Parade!”

“You’re Honor, I’d like to submit Exhibit 1:”

“Exhibit accepted.”
“The Defense rests, Your Honor.”
“Yeah, I figured. This is going to be a quick one…”

They’ll pay off Trump, because he’s got the juice to make life miserable for them, but they’ll take Ka$h all the way. This should be a fun trial.
I’m a musician, but it’s the same for artists: you have to do it over and over and over, and eventually it starts to get better. No matter how old musicians get, they still practice those fundamentals - scales, chord progressions, intervals, etc. The idea that a musician just improvises beauty out of thin air is mostly an illusion. It’s really the product many, many hours of practice.
You want to sit down and create a work of art right out of your brain, but the reality is that most good art is the result of years of mastering the fundamentals, and then several drafts before it looks right.
I spent years playing scales, chords, riffs, etc., just to get to the point where I can improvise a plausible blues solo. I don’t know how I stuck with it for so long, but the feeling I get when I can just grab my guitar and play along is so satisfying that I’ve never doubted that the effort was worth it.
So start now, working on the fundamentals, and practicing various techniques that you need for specific textures like hair, or drapery, or eyes, or trees, or clouds, or shadows, etc. When you can do all those things well, you can bang our something credible when the inspiration hits you.

At Oakland and Uvalde, the trained professionals stayed outside, and listened to the killer murder one child after another. This guy ran directly at the killer, without hesitation.
It doesn’t get any more heroic than that. Whatever medals exist, give them ALL to this guy.

Imagine how much more he could have paid his employees, instead of just burning it up on a rocket failure.

I don’t care if a bunch of self-delusional 40 year old MAGAs think they’re tough enough to go kill all those weak Iranians, and end up getting themselves killed. The more the merrier, as far as I’m concerned.
Those people are so out of touch. Their behavior isn’t making me decrease my resistance, it’s making much MORE resistant, to the point that no matter what happens, whether we prevail or MAGA prevails, they are going to face serious punishment for their crimes, and so will any Democratic politicians who doesn’t support retribution for what MAGA has done to America and the World.

These traitors won’t do anything until judges start throwing them in jail.

He’s the Senate expert on stern letters, supporting Israel, and insider trading.

I used to know a guy who saw the Earth once.

No Green Flash.

Terry Kath was essentially the leader, and also their main songwriter, and a truly spectacular guitarist. He died in a gun accident, and the artistic direction of the band changed.

He’s always been about that, that’s been his thing for his entire life. What shocks me is that there are still so many people willing to believe anything he says.

We need to start scoffing and rolling our eyes every time we hear that. Just make fun of it, humiliate anyone who repeats it. It’s vitally important that the media do it, but they always just play along like it’s a viable argument.

What’s going on? Business as usual, that’s what. Why do you think these guys worked so hard to steal the power? It’s not complicated, looting America down to the floorboards has always been the entire plan.

We need the music world to be as radical as it was in the Vietnam era, because this war is looking like it’s going to be far worse.
Back in the 60s and 70s, it was very common to see anti-littering ads on TV, paid for by the government. They were ubiquitous, you would see them on TV every day.
The result was that young people grew up with the idea of littering being absolutely unthinkable. I remember seeing friends scold their parents for littering. Today, those ads don’t exist, and I often see young people littering.
If the government went back to encouraging people to respect their community and the environment, it would solve most of the problem without having to pass laws, cite people, arrest people, etc.
“Righty tighty, Lefty loosey” has been working for me all these years, I don’t see a reason to change now.
I hire the person, not their mistakes, which everybody makes. I’ve seen sketchy people who turned out to be great employees, and people from impeccable backgrounds who were scummy, unrepentant criminals. I don’t even ask about criminal records when I hire someone.
I do care about them being MAGA. I won’t have corrupt traitors/ racists/ pedophiles working for me, or around my good, valuable employees. At best, they’ll steal from me, at worst they’ll exploit and molest my employees and customers.
