    Also a big reason why this “sequel” works so well with the first game, is because TotK was originally going to be a third DLC for the base game, and then got “too big” so they decided to make a whole game out of the ideas / content they had. Since it started as a 100% base-game-compatible add-on, it is not that big of a surprise that the stories compliment each other so well that the author speaks of “two halves”. ;)

      I’m glad things played out the way they did. Had Nintendo stuck with the original plan it would not have been nearly as fleshed out.

      Also: it’s nice to see a friendly face from that other site pushing content like mad. Doesn’t seem like any of the other niche communities I was a part of there have any plans to move over to Lemmy/Kbin. But I’m not going back, so… thanks!
