I wondered what was going on, I just got hit by this problem as I wanted to subscribe to wefwef. Some people are just anti-social.

It’s the same thing over and over so I’m pretty sure, always adding communities with QWERTY random names
Is there any way to delete those communities? Can an instance owner purge them?
They do.
If you hit this kind of issue again, just sort by top instead of active or hot, so you get the communities with more members and not the ones which were just created.
That’s what I did. I was glad to see the sort icon available.

They should implement a maximum length on the names and restrict everyone to creating one new community a day.
