Thankfully, none of the dogs I’ve ever had were the eat-to-death type of dogs, so I just had to refill the bowl when it got empty.
Honestly it’s strange to hear it’s so common since I’ve owned dozens of pets and only one of them ever had issues with food but that was food aggression not eating till they puke.
My dads dog does it too! Then he drinks water and double licks the bowl.
