Yea yeah, I know there are better Nirvana songs but that one I can listen to forever.
there aren’t “better” Nirvana songs… there are just songs you love, period, full stop. Ain’t no right or wrong, good or bad, in art my friend! The heart wants what the heart wants and if it’s “Heart Shaped Box” by Nirvana, turn that shit up & on repeat!
A few years back, a local radio station played a Steve Albini mix of HSB. If you haven’t heard it yet, I would suggest you go looking for it. It’s rawer than what appeared on the album and after a few listens, I think I prefer the Albini mix.

Arlo Parks - Caroline
I absolutely love her sound and vibe. All of her stuff is worth checking out.
This is very nice. I know I’ve listened to her before but I’m not sure I’ve given her proper attention. I think I’ll give her another shot.
Love Arlo Parks but will have to revisit this song specifically now.

It’s still a perfect pop song ; I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.La Costa Brava by Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. This song and album is in rotation no matter what else I happen to be listening to.

Haha! True! BUT it’s Pilgrimage - when that song comes on a playlist, I almost always play it at least twice!

When Angel Olsen’s 2019 album All Mirrors came out I had this song on repeat.
And here’s another. Radiohead is one of my most listened to bands probably of all time. Here’s one my favorite songs from my favorite album.

Radiohead for me. On paper I should LOVE Radiohead. While I like some of their songs, frustratingly the band just never clicked for me. 😢
