If I try to upload an image in a comment reply, such as a screenshot from my phone, I get a Format Exception, complaining about unexpected HTML.

###### Your instance is probably limiting the image size to 100k or so to save data. Upload the image to image shack or imgur or something of your choice then use the direct url in the url section
Yes, it seems you are correct. My instance won’t accept a screenshot because it’s over 100KB, so that in itself is not a Liftoff issue.
However, Liftoff should fail gracefully here and not give an unintelligible error message.
Yea I found that annoying too at first, hopefully they will make it where it eventually redirects you to a website or upload the picture itself then link the image directly to the picture
