Here’s my battlestation on the other side of that office area where I have my girlfriend’s desk: https://files.catbox.moe/0i55jw.jpg
Is that a silver Ncase M1? Noooice. I’m still rocking a black M1
SFF is a lot of fun. The case way in that corner is actually a Cooler Master NR200P: https://files.catbox.moe/k7jpq1.jpg
The case in my post description photo is a Fractal Torrent with the grill painted gold. 😎
The home of a couple who cares about sound quality
😆 Yeah, I’ve been pretty audio obsessed lately! I’ll probably change out those cheap acoustic foam panels for some nicer looking wooden paneling or something soon. The 85" TV makes those speakers look a bit meager…
Even though my girlfriend is over here most of the time and I have an PC setup for her, I think this still counts as a Male Living Space since she has her own house, too (on the same block as me lol).
Looks great! I was literally just watching that exact episode of Succession on my own Plex a minute ago , what are the odds
Thanks. Awesome show! Don’t know how I feel about how it ended. 😅 I won’t spoil anything, though.
Just finished S04E09, so in about 90 minutes I know if I can agree or not haha What client are you using for Plex? I just started to get into it after using Kodi for years. Currently using the native app on my TV and a Raspberry Pi as a server but the performance is meh. Also tried my old PS4 but that’s even worse, so I’m looking for something with a better performance while browsing my library
Oh boy, how much detail do you want? 😅
I have a TrueNAS Scale server in my closet that I built with my old desktop’s 9900k. Mirrored SSDs for app data and a 3x raidz2 volume with 6 16TB disks each (174TiB). Using quicksync for transcoding performance when remote. I have Plex installed with the official charts App in TrueNAS.
I used Kodi for a long time, and it still does certain things better than Plex (as a media player), but Plex does everything I want it to quite well. I’m running it on my TV here using a Shield TV Pro, but I use it on my android phone, Roku, browser… Always works great.
