The fact that it took multiple second yellow offenses for Oliver to send off that Wolves player, yet Myles gets sent off for a non-cynical offense, is pathetic.
I know part of it was because he was considered the last defender and it was seen as a professional foul. But he wasn’t really the last defender, and you could see from his reaction that is it wasn’t calculated. He went for the ball and got it wrong. A yellow was definitely warranted. But a red was harsh IMO.
He wasn’t at all the last defender… The counter attack had just begun and there were players clumped all around. On top of all of that, yeah, he didn’t hit his ankle, he hit the toe.
