China is trying to build good will in the Middle East so they can then build sub par infrastructure and laden poor countries with debt they can’t repay. The second motive is to use the Middle East as a pawn in its subtle struggle against the US. The third is a tale as old as time, oil. China needs lots of oil since they can’t produce enough. I don’t believe many human systems (ie government) act altruistically in this world.
This isn’t true. Do you think the OIC is afraid of China but not the US or Israel? Why?
You must have missed when China brokered peace between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Something the US was opposed to.
